Commissioned artwork to celebrate Kadambini Ganguly's 160th birth anniversary for Google Doodle.

The idea to use a stethoscope to spell out "doctor" was of particular interest as I could play with its shape in the typography of "GOOGLE".
Going ahead with two concepts to get to the final artwork -
one that highlights Kadambini Ganguly's face against a backdrop of Calcutta Medical College where she was the first woman student to be enrolled.
Second, showing a full profile of Ganguly who is walking towards the CMC facade.
We went ahead with the portrait approach as it made easier to relate with the subject and give her identity more assertion and prominence.
